Letting kids be kids again

“On day one I knew: I’ll be here from start to finish for the next editions!”

That feeling has stayed. [IMPACT] brings together what I have believed in for years. Growing isn’t only about your body or your performance. It’s also about what you carry inside.

In my own practice, SECOND SENSE, I guide people in letting go of fears, traumas and limiting beliefs. I also worked in sports clubs for years. There I saw up close how much children and young people carry off the court, and how strongly that affects how they feel and move.

Within [IMPACT] I use that experience to support kids and young people emotionally. The themes vary widely, from letting go of limiting beliefs or fear of failure to processing memories of being bullied at school. Everything can be talked about. The kids get the space to say for themselves what matters to them at that moment.

Behind the scenes I take care of the technical side. And I think about the framework that connects all the coaches: what language we speak, what values we carry. Because the stronger that framework stands, the more room there is for what really matters.

What drives me is simple. Children sometimes carry things that are far too heavy for their age. If I can help them let go of some of that, they get space back. Space to play, discover and laugh.
